AC Out in Kendall? Here's Our Fast-Response Plan

Kendall’s inland location means afternoon heat that often runs hotter than coastal Miami-Dade. Without sea breeze to help, a broken AC here turns a home uncomfortable fast.

Our technician arrives at your Kendall address, runs a full diagnostic, and hands you a flat-rate quote in writing before any part is touched. We fix what can be fixed, no pressure toward a new system.

Book before noon and most Kendall calls get same-day service, from The Hammocks to Country Walk. Our trucks are stocked for the repairs older Kendall homes need most.

What Fails Most in Kendall's Aging AC Systems

Decades-old housing stock and intense inland heat create a predictable pattern of failures across Kendall. Here’s what we repair most.

AC Overwhelmed During Afternoon Thunderstorms

AC Struggling to Keep Up with Inland Heat

Kendall's inland location means less ocean breeze and afternoon temperatures that can run hotter than coastal areas. A weak capacitor, low refrigerant, or dirty coil leaves the system unable to keep pace. We isolate the real cause.

Aging Equipment in 1980s and 1990s Homes

Much of Kendall's housing stock, including The Hammocks and Kendall West, was built decades ago with original or early-generation AC equipment. We give you honest repair vs. replace numbers based on actual system age and condition.

Heavy Overnight Humidity from Everglades Moisture

Evening humidity stays elevated in Kendall as moisture evaporates from the nearby Everglades, forcing the AC to dehumidify even after temperatures drop. Clogged condensate lines are a common result. We flush and clear them fast.

Capacitor Replacement

One of the most frequent Kendall repairs, especially during July heat spikes when older capacitors finally give out. Usually fixed same day, typically $150 to $350.

Restricted Airflow from Original Ductwork

Older Kendall homes often have ductwork that restricts airflow, leading to warm air at the vents even when the system itself is functioning. We check both the equipment and the duct path.

Blower Motor Failures

Squealing or grinding noises from the indoor unit point to a worn blower motor or belt. Common in systems that have run for years without maintenance. We name the cause before quoting.

AC Won't Turn On

Tripped breakers, failed capacitors, bad contactors, and thermostat issues are the usual suspects. Our diagnostic isolates the cause in minutes.

Compressor Failure in End-of-Life Systems

The most serious failure, common in Kendall's older units. We test, confirm, and walk you through the real economics of repair vs. replacement.

Extremely dissatisfied I did not have any issues with my home until I allowed them to come in, so I was trying to save some money and upgrade my home at the same time I put in new AC, insulated the attic as well new ductwork ever since they have touched my home, my house has been leaking full of conversation and will not stop I keep calling them. They continue to send somebody nothing gets better. My house now is smelling musty my walls are wet and nothing is being done about. It would not recommend as their service guys run in run out don’t say anything.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Jason, our home comfort advisor, and I can’t express how grateful I am for his expertise and guidance during our attic upgrade. From the moment he arrived, his professionalism and knowledge were evident. Highly recommend him and the company to anyone looking to make high efficient upgrades to their home!

I don’t understand how there are so many 5 star reviews. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Ever since we had purchased a unit and installed by them there has been nothing but issues. It seems every 3 months the A/C has issues. When calling to have a technician come to check or do an annual maintenance check, the appointment time is 10am-7pm, which is a huge inconvenience and ridiculous because your stuck in your home all day for the technician not to show up, no call no show. Very inconsiderate of people’s time. The representative that schedules the appointment whenever she decides to call you back always seems have an attitude, like she really hates her job. It’s the summer time and I’m expecting to have a baby soon and have a toddler in the house and was hoping to have the A/C taken care of but the technician never showed up nor did they attempted to contact me “30 minutes” prior as the representative claims. So now I have to wait until I’m out of the hospital being that I could be going into labor any minute now, to come back to rescheduling a appt.for the A/C. PLEASE DO NOT work with this company, go elsewhere. They are horrible. I usually don’t leave reviews but it’s that bad.

I had a great experience working with Jacob, a manager at United Stated Solutions. He handled my electrical panel and was extremely professional from start to finish. What really stood out was how clearly he explained everything—he took the time to walk me through why certain things in my home were turning on and off and helped me understand what was causing my high electric bill. Thanks to his expertise and recommendations, my light bill dropped dramatically—from around $380 to under $150. That kind of difference speaks for itself.I highly recommend listening to Jacob and trusting his advice. He really knows what he’s doing and genuinely wants to help his customers save money and improve their homes.

I had an issue with my AC and called United State Solutions. Ashley from customer service helped me and scheduled me for the next day, which I really appreciated because it was pretty hot in the house. The appointment window is an all-day window (10 AM – 7 PM), which isn’t the most convenient, but Ashley explained that’s how their scheduling works and at least they don’t charge a service fee just for coming out like many other companies do. The technician checked the unit and got everything working again. Overall the service was professional and the office was responsive. I’m happy with the help I received.

Great experience after everything was finalized For Context Our home was getting very hot during the day and the AC seemed to run constantly, especially in the afternoon. Nathan from United State Solutions checked the attic and showed us that the insulation level was very low and uneven in several areas. They added new attic insulation to bring it up to the proper level. Since the work was completed, the house holds the temperature much better and the AC doesn’t run as long as it used to. Nathan explained the process clearly and made the whole experience easy. The office staff was also very helpful with scheduling and follow-up.

We were having a serious airflow issue in our home with some rooms were not cooling properly while others were getting too much air. Delilah came out and helped identify that the problem was coming from old and poorly sealed ductwork in the attic. She explained the issue clearly and coordinated the duct replacement. United State Solutions installed the new ducts and sealed everything correctly, and the difference was noticeable right away. Airflow is now balanced throughout the house and the system runs much more efficiently. Shout out to Delilah for guiding us through the process and to United State Solutions’ customer service team for keeping us updated and scheduling everything smoothly. Great experience overall.

I recently discovered that my air ducts were leaking and had no idea where to start or who to call. A friend recommended to contact United State Solutions, and immediately the situation became much easier to understand. I especially want to thank Gloria, who took the time to explain what was happening with the ducts and how the vent replacement process works. She walked me through everything step by step and answered all my questions. The team handled the duct and vent replacement professionally, and the airflow in the house is noticeably better now. If you’re dealing with leaking air ducts or ventilation issues, I’d recommend reaching out to United State Solutions and asking for Gloria.

I’ve been using United State Solutions for my AC service for a while now and have had consistently good experiences. The technicians take their time checking the system and make sure everything is working properly before they leave. I never feel like they’re rushing through the job just to get to the next appointment. I also want to mention Ashley Lima, who answers the phone and helps with scheduling. Ashley is very straightforward when explaining what’s covered, what isn’t, and what to expect from the service. I actually appreciate that because it avoids surprises later. If you’re in Miami and need reliable AC maintenance or repair, this has been a company I’ve felt comfortable calling. Overall, it’s been easy dealing with United State Solutions. The communication is clear, the service has been reliable, and Ashley Lima has always been helpful whenever I call.

Excellent service. I had a misunderstanding, but Gloria, the agent from United State Solutions, helped clear everything up and provided excellent customer service. The central air conditioning system they installed works perfectly, and I feel reassured by the warranty they offered. I know no company is perfect, but what truly matters is customer service and a willingness to address any needs or questions. This company showed me that, as a customer, they genuinely go the extra mile to help.

Very satisfied with the overall experience from start to finish. Replacing an AC system is a major investment, and the team really took the time to make sure I understood every step of the process. They paid close attention to detail, answered all of my questions clearly, and never made me feel rushed or pressured. You can tell they genuinely know what they’re doing and take pride in their work. The installation was handled professionally, everything was left clean, and my new AC system has been running perfectly. It’s rare to find a company that combines technical knowledge with good customer service, but they delivered on both. I’m extremely happy with the results and have already recommended them to my in-laws. Thank you again for making what could have been a stressful purchase feel smooth and straightforward.

Lisa Jean-Baptiste

I am extremely disappointed with the service I’ve received from this company. Nearly every month, a new issue arises with my AC unit. Instead of properly diagnosing and fixing the root problem, it feels like temporary patches are being done just to get by. On top of that, there have been repeated attempts to void my warranty rather than stand behind the work performed. Customer service has also been frustrating, the representative I speak with consistently has an unprofessional and dismissive attitude. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for reliable or honest AC service.

At first I was frustrated about the 2 days between the first diagnostic and the part arriving, but the lady on the phone explained that’s just how service works sometimes. While I waited, I did called around and found other companies wanted $745–$1,100 for the same repair. United Solutions fixed my AC under their 15 year warranty and I didn’t pay a dime. The wait was worth it, straight honest service and zero cost. Thank you!

Nathali Bedoya

I never leave reviews but Honestly, this company gives you one of the best deals out there. The 15-year free warranty is something you won’t find with most HVAC places , others wanted to charge me anywhere from $150 to $200+ just to show up. When my AC started leaking water, they came the very next day and fixed it without charging me a dime. Yes, the appointment windows can be long (they tell you anytime up until 7pm), but the way I see it, it’s worth the wait because you’re not stuck paying those crazy service fees every time something goes wrong. For me, that kind of coverage and peace of mind is more important than watching the clock.

They were so great and cleaned up the mess from the install. Everyone was nice and stayed in contact through the whole process which made me feel very comfortable. If you're thinking about getting home improvements I recommend they go above and beyond. The financing is affordable and the process is quick. Thanks

I really needed an AC and they came to my door and offered me a brand new unit at a very affordable payment. My light bill was over $300 and so now that I have the unit my light bill has gone down and now my house feels like a hospital. Everyone that came out was very good and professional. A verb knowledgeable company and did great a great job.

Kendall AC Repair: Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our AC services in Kendall, from repair needs to energy efficiency options.

How much does AC repair cost in Kendall, FL?

Most jobs run $150 to $600. Capacitor: $150 to $350. Drain clearing: $99 to $250. Refrigerant recharge: $200 to $550. Compressor: $1,200 to $2,800. Written quote, always.

Is your Kendall crew licensed?

Yes, Florida HVAC Contractor License CAC051468, fully bonded and insured.

What's the diagnostic fee in Kendall?

$79 to $129, waived in full if you approve the recommended repair.

Should I repair or replace my Kendall AC?

Past 10 to 12 years with repair costs over half a new system’s price usually means replace. We give you the honest math both ways.

What warranty applies to Kendall repairs?

Written workmanship warranty on every job, with parts covered by manufacturer warranty listed on your estimate.

Do you serve all Kendall communities?

Yes, from Kendall Lakes and The Hammocks to Country Walk, The Crossings, Kendale Lakes, and south to the Cutler Bay and Palmetto Bay border areas.

My Kendall home is from the 1980s. Should I repair or replace?

We give you both numbers. A 1980s system may be well past cost-effective repair range, but many 1990s units can still be economically repaired. We never push replacement when repair makes financial sense.

Why does my AC struggle more in the afternoon in Kendall?

Inland location means no sea breeze and high afternoon heat retention. Kendall can run 3 to 5 degrees hotter than coastal cities in the afternoon. An undersized or struggling AC cannot keep up with that load.
